Panda is..

ending? maybe... at least the original band.... for now... who knows... there should be an interview up with them in the next week... and we'll see what info we can find out

they played their "last show" as a full band on tuesday at bottom of the hill...
Innocence Again, Overview, and Tragedy Andy played with them


I'm pretty sure I've seen Innocence Again before.... but frankly.. i just didnt care..
I mean they're not bad... but they aren't amazing either... well.. yet....

Every time i see Overview i like them more and more. If we are using my CD buying scale.... i wanted to get their CDs... but was too lazy to bother... so... they are up there on the scale... but not all the way to the top..

explaining the CD buying scale.... which i know I have in a previous post... so i apologize for being repetitive.. but I feel I should explain it again
So I dont usually buy CDS... like ever... unless i feel i really need the CD... like if i cant live without that bands music type thing.. well maybe not that extreme.. or if i just really respect and support their music
and those situations position the band at the top of the scale..
if i like the music... but dont wanna spend the money or am just too lazy... they are in the middle of the scale... inching more towards the top...
and then bands that i have no interest buying their CD... but that also doesnt necessarily mean i dont like them.. so.. for those i dont buy a CD from nor want to buy a CD from they are a little less that the middle or at the bottom of the scale..

so ya.. thats the scale...

anyways... overview was awesome... everyone should try to get out to one of their shows...
like their Sept. 8th show at bottom of the hill

Tragedy Andy... i hadn't seen in about a year n a half... and then considering that.. one thing i noticed was that they played a lot of the same songs i'd heard back in the days of imusicast..
but Tragedy Andy really isn't that bad. although i'm sure if you watch one of the music video shows on FUSE.. like dedicate live or w/e it is.. 5 of the bands that had videos on would sound nearly exactly like Tragedy Andy...

As for Panda...

okay... I'll stop there...
i don't know, for me, i am just really fond of this band..
and its just something about them that i love... scratch that... everything about them i love
its the energy
its the style
its the talent
its the personality
its Panda.

I'm sad to see it end, but hope more comes from them in the future....
I can understand that want/need to go to college though

so.. they are playing the indie music festival on aug 25th in martinez being put on by 3 udders production... so check that out... not all the members will be playing though...

so.. keep checking back for that interview i mentioned earlier.. and go check out the shows i mentioned
