Camera Issues

I went to slims in the 23rd and cought the rocket summer, early november, bla bla bla show. Pretty chill.. although by the end of the night i was dead center 3 people back... and these 2 guys kept like shoving everyone away to "protect" the girls they were with. ... and i was standing there... a girl... and able to take the pushing of the crowd... so.. i say. if your going to a show and plan on being in the front. hold your own or quit your bitching and move.



Rickshaw Stop. last night
I'd never been to rickshaw... I dig the place. It's got a cool set up and what not. plus the sound in that place is great... or atleast it appeals to me. MC Chris, Street To Nowhere, and Piebald were on the bill. A very deverse group.. except not.
MC Chris does a character in Aqua Teen Hunger Force and other cartoons. bla bla bla He apeals to the computer geek type, but also a vast array of others not of the typical genres. I dug his set.. not quite my style or what not... but good either way..
I brought my camera to document the event... but once i got there i was too lazy to actually take pictures... plus i was way far back for his set. so i dont have anything from MC Chris' set.

The crowd response to him as unreal. and crowd participation.. like seriously.. they followed everything he said... at 1 point MC Chris had everyone take 4 steps back.. and then puts their arms out.. and walk forward like zombies.. it was hialrious.. and nearly everyone in the corwd took part.
Another thing about his set that stood out was the complete pro drug atmosphere.. dont get me wrong there is a deffinite yay drugs thing going on at nearly every show.. but MC Chris was pretty open about it. Telling people to more or less smoke him out after the show. 'twas great

There was a noticable amount that left after his set. But they might not have left left... but just found a place far away from the stage, still in the venue.
Anyways.. that allowed me to move up to the front... where i decided... hell might as well take video/pics if im close. So i have 2 videos i think and a few pics from Street To Nowhere's set.
To my amazement and joy... they played leave the cameras on. which i recorded for all to enjoy.
One word that would greatly describe the Street To Nowhere set is electifying. They guys were full of energy and Dave was committed to the songs. It is insane to see the difference of how he acts on stage now verses back in the day.

this one kid rolled up.. and was listening to his ipod... i cant stress how much it bugs me to see people listening to their ipods at shows

i went to my school's rock show recently.. interesting... hilarious band called osh core. ska sound
my friend was in a band that did rage against the machine covers... not bad
my friends bro was in the healinng band... which was Geryon.. like a death metal sound.. i dug it.

uhm pics and videos were taken from the last mentioned shows... not the rocket summer one though 'cause the promoter was lame and wouldnt allow cameras
but the pics i do have might not get up ever because ther was some kinda of memory error and my camera claims there are no pictures or videos on it. but there are.. so igotta figure that out first.. so basically it is attack of the cameras again.
