Dancing Men

So I opted for the bottom of the hill show..
the matches/panda show selling out only made my decision that much easier...
but im very happy with my choice..

so.. im tired... and if i dont do this now.. as usual.. it will never get done... but i also am to out of it to do some lengthy thing so.. here it is

The Trophy Fire. me gusta.... i look forward to seeing what comes of them.. they got potential..
been really diggin' ... i think its the.. chorus of jenny under house arrest?.. or something like that.. well all of it really...


An Angle was cool... kinda had an oldies sound to 'em.. it was interesting..

street to nowhere was awesome.. as usual.. kinda bummed i missed dave's solo acoustic set the other night.. but ... this kid had her psychology final the next day.... Liked the cover I did... think it was The Band.... might be wrong.. but that sounds right..

Oh Push To Talk... first CD i ever had of theirs.. i found in the middle of a creek at a park near my house... (see older blog post for more)
I'ma miss that band.. but the guys should still be around the scene...

it was crazy how many people we knew... huggin' right n left
oh.. so speakin' of people we knew... Ryan. you are still my favorite person.. for now... and here is why

so.. there were two main social themes for tonight.. guys slowdancing with other guys.. the other was couples like full on making out/necking etc..but thats not relevant to this..

towards the beginning of Push To Talk's set everyone was grooving.. nearing the center of the room were a bunch of guys.. it was like an orgy of dancing men.. ryan being one of them.. it was cute.

but hey people.. Ryan can't remain my favorite for long... who is gunna top him?

okay.. thats it.. Paige wants sleep...

There are 2 shows. one at Bottom of the Hill the other at Slim's

now... which do i go to?

i want to see... Panda, The Matches, The Trophy Fire, Street To Nowhere, and Push To Talk
there is no real way i can work it to go back n forth between shows...

so i must pick. but which!?

and when trying to decide.. its difficult.. i missed the last few local performances by the matches... havent seen them in probably a year +
panda.. is simply panda... and im bummed when i miss any of their shows
This is the trophy fire's first show.... so i really wanna go out n support ben n jamie..
Missed Street To Nowhere's last 3 local shows...
And.... this is Push To Talk's LAST show

oh by the way.. as of current.. Ryan of Audrye Sessions is my favoritest person.. most favorite?.. fuck.. too tired to care about grammar... but ya.. not really sure why.. just is... maybe its the kissing other guys... or putting out cigarettes on his shoe while on stage singing.. or maybe just cause he is who he is.. or maybe cause he actually reads my posts.. haha... anyways.. Ryan you rock!

Another shout out goes to Ash... the first person to come up to me and tell me they read my blog... he's a pretty cool kid.. thanks for hanging with me at the merch table.. n keepin' me company.. the other girl there thought you were pretty hott.. haha..




so.. anyways.. to the show... it was ... fucking tight.

i cant even remember all the people that got up on stage n sang/played.. the hundred days was pretty tight.. their manager is even cooler.. uhm.. built for the sea.. amazing. Elephone... they gots skills.... Cold Hot Crash.. again.. pretty tight... if you couldn't tell... my mental ability is lacking a bit.. almost been up for 24 hours straight...really should get some sleep.. but .. if i don't type this now.. it will never get done..

basically the show.. was just great.. had a great vibe and everyone was having a great time.. CD release party really fits.

All the artists that got up and did their Christmas songs were awesome.. I loved how Persephone's bees forgot the words.. and how James of Push To Talk just kept singing the same thing over and over again for the war is over. mighta had to do with his drunken state... not sure.. Panda was great.. even if the sound was a bit off.. didnt matter.. the vibe was right.. the intent was right.. it was right.
basically the show was just a really good time for all.. to drink.. and make asses of oneself... but no one really minded.. and simply enjoy good music...

if you weren't there.. you missed out.. end of story...

Check out DESA at bottom of the hill Sat. 1st (tomorrow.. or well i guess today seeing as how its 3 am..).... maybe some of the magic from tonights show will still be lingering... if not... doesn't matter.. DESA will rock it out.

Follow up questions to the Panda interview should be posted tomorrow.. nothing too big.. just a couple questions to get caught up.. but be sure to check out the whole thing eh?
