Holy Days Are for Band Shows

Against the Grain
Kid Innocence
Panda
The Buttercream Gang
@blakes tonight (tonight being Easter, April 8th 2007)

I dig Against the Grain.. The vocals and the instrumental dont quite match, but oh well. The guy on lead vocals reminded me a lot of Shawn Harris of the Matches, not his voice but his stage presence and facial expretions. They had a lot of energy

Kid Innocence.. I haven't seen them in a looooong time. Back in the days of icast maybe? They are pretty cool. One song they played reminded me of Panic at the Disco... i wasn't sure how to react...

Panda.... was fantastic. as usual. Oh those boys and their illegal lazers.. The guy that had my pants from the cafe du nord show (see previous post entitled "Get Your Own Pants" for clerification) was at the show tonight as well. yay Panda fans!... seemed like Panda was drawing an older following tonight.. by older i mean not 14 and 15 but like mid 20s.
I know stuff about Panda you dont know.. *sticks out tongue*
confused? good.

Only heard the first 2 songs of The Buttercream Gang's set 'cause i had to get home.... Not enough to form a real opinion on them... but they did have this whole echo/response with background vox.. it was pretty trippy sounding... trippy bring good.

no pics/videos 'cause im still trying to figure out the camera malfunction. kinda annoying as of now I lost all pictures and videos of the Street To Nowhere show at rickshaw stop and my high school's rock show. extremely lame. so.. I'll try and fix the camera issue.. but who knows

upcoming shows...
April 18th Street To Nowhere plays Bottom of the Hill
April 22nd MC Lars plays Rickshaw Stop
April 27th DESA plays Bottom of the Hill
